They hire a babysitter to keep watch on Contessa while they are away, but once [[Peyton Suzuki|Peyton]] leaves they instead hire [[Jupiter Belle]], a young teen with a crush on [[Deidre Littler]]. Pierce also hears that his half-brother Dunstan, who along with Leila has aged up into a young adult, plans on enlisting in the military.
Pierce also rediscovers his love for music and for playing the guitar thanks to inspiration from Brigit and Jupiter.
