Pleasantview: undoubtedly the most famous suburban neighborhood in all of SimNation. Caked in scandals, affairs, and ignominy, Pleasantview is almost a laughing stock to the rest of SimNation for its seemingly-perfect outward appearance and awful, awful underbelly. The tales of Pleasantview may not be wonderful or touching, but they are interesting to say the least.

"Alex," she said. "What are you doing up so late?"

"Oh, I was just working on something," he assured her. "It's a new experiment that I hope can help re-evaluate the scientific meaning and the value of infinity when it comes to mathematic equations. It's set up so that by following a certain numerical pattern, you can figure out the root of the issue through a different numerical order that can be set up through the prior. Simple, really. I don't know what took so long."

Yes, Alexander was only a child. A brilliant one, at that.

"Cassandra," young Alexander scoffed. "I can read at an 11th grade level." He noticed his sister's frown. "But if it'll make you happy, sure."

"Well, do you want me to read you a bedtime story?" Cassandra asked.

Cassandra smiled and picked a book off the shelf, reading to her little brother until he was half-asleep. By the time she finished Alexander was starting to doze off.

"Cassandra," he muttered.

"What happened to mother?"

Cassandra was taken back by this question. She honestly didn't know; all she heard were rumors, but the rumors told many different things: alien abductions, possible rape and murder, affairs, and the probable involvement of Cassandra's own fiancée--one detail she refused to believe. She couldn't possibly relate all that to a 10-year-old.

She was wrong on that last part. Someone knew, but wasn't saying anything.

The exhausted Alexander seemed content with her response and turned over, mumbling, "Good night." Cassandra went back to her room and lay down, thinking some more. She had always been quiet, mysterious, and thoughtful, constantly thinking, so this wasn't really new. Mortimer knocked on her door.

Mortimer's eyes widened and he staggered back. "Nothing," he said suddenly, furious. "Nothing at all. Now don't you ever bring that up again, Cassandra. Ever!" And with that, he stormed out of the room.

A thought came to Cassandra, and before her father could mutter "Good night" she blurted out, "What happened to my mother?"

Cassandra was shocked. She had never thought to ask her father about Bella, but now that she did she saw an interesting reaction. So she lay on her bed, thinking. About Mortimer. About Bella. About the wedding. About Don.

The alarm clock beeped Lilith out of her dreams. She looked around her dark, dismal room. Even though it was large, her room was bare, with only a dresser, a bed, and a nightstand. She groggily sat up and headed towards the bathroom she shared with her twin, Angela. There was no sight of her. Lilith started combing her tangled mess of hair, trying to put it into her typical hairstyle, but couldn't pull it off. It was a mess.

"Out of the way, Lilith!" Angela yelled, shoving her sister aside. She stood in front of the mirror, ran a brush through her hair, clipped some of it into place, and took two small strands and flipped them over her ears. In six seconds, she achieved a flawless hairstyle that took Lilith minutes. Angela flashed a brilliant smile at the mirror, adjusted her floral green dress, and strolled away.

"Good morning, mom! Good morning, daddy!" Angela said as she strolled downstairs.

"Good morning, Angela!" they both said cheerfully. Mary-Sue had been talking with one of her work supervisors on the phone, but put it down long enough to greet her daughter.

"Thank you, dear," Mary-Sue said before turning back to her phone call. Daniel slowly reached his hand over and grabbed Mary-Sue's, but his wife quickly pulled away. Leaning in towards her, he began to caress her shoulder gently, smiling flirtatiously at his wife. Mary-Sue managed to smack her husband's hand and mouth the words, "Not now," before turning back to her phone call.

The morning went by as it always did: Mary-Due busy talking to her controller on the phone, while Daniel alternated between flirting with her and listening to Angela's reports. Lilith just trying to bear through it all without being noticed. It was only a matter of minutes before Mary-Sue's carpool and the girls' school bus were outside their house.

"Come, I'll show you how I like my bed made," Daniel said, strolling into the room. By the time he turned around, Kaylynn was ready. The two began by kissing, but that quickly spiraled out of control into something Daniel hadn't experienced in years. They took much longer than they had expected, and continued even when they had both reached their peak.

The two girls walked into their parents' bedroom. It took them only a few seconds to grasp what they had seen before they ran upstairs as fast as they could. Neither Daniel nor Kaylynn noticed, but they had been seen. The girls ran upstairs, Angela weeping, Lilith stunned. Daniel and Kaylynn hadn't even noticed that it was after school hours. They didn't notice that they had been caught in mid-WooHoo by Angela and Lilith.
