===Chapter 1: Anticipation===
<p style="text-align:left;"> It was a cool, crisp autumn night--winter was close in coming, and the sudden drops in temperature agreed. Cassandra Goth lay on her bed, relaxing despite how late it was, deep in thought.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> The clock beeped 11, which really is not too late, but for the strict Mortimer Goth was way past his children's bedtimes--even if one of them was already 26 years old.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Cassandra didn't care; she liked her father's strict moral code. She herself was very mature for her age, and pretty serious and sullen most of the time, although that was to be expected with the mysterious tragedy that had befallen the Goth family.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> The aging Mortimer's wife, Bella, widely believed to be the most beautiful Sim in SimNation, had vanished mysteriously one night about three years ago. No one knew where she went or what happened to her, although rumors of alien abductions were swirling around. Sims reported seeing strange lights above Pleasantview the night she vanished, and witnessing electronics go haywire and even UFOs. Other mysteries yet were far more personal and troubling to Cassandra.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> She toyed with the engagement ring on her finger.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Only two more days," she said to herself. She had actually bought the ring herself, since Don didn't have enough cash to afford it. But she didn't care; her father was the fabulously wealthy Mortimer Goth, after all. Mortimer, however, was less than pleased to help his daughter in her engagement to who he considered a gross, slovenly, disrespectful slob of a man. Yet Cassandra was ready to disobey her father and lay it all on the line for the sake of her love for Don.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Cassandra lay there, thinking, when she saw her sweet little brother, Alexander, who was still only a child, walk past her room.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Alex," she called out, standing up. He returned into view.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Alex," she said. "What are you doing up so late?"</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Oh, I was just working on something," he assured her. "It's a new experiment that I hope can help re-evaluate the scientific meaning and the value of infinity when it comes to mathematic equations. It's set up so that by following a certain numerical pattern, you can figure out the root of the issue through a different numerical order that can be set up through the prior. Simple, really. I don't know what took so long."</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Yes, Alexander was only a child. A brilliant one, at that.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Well, do you want me to read you a bedtime story?" Cassandra asked.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Cassandra," young Alexander scoffed. "I can read at an 11th grade level." He noticed his sister's frown. "But if it'll make you happy, sure."</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Cassandra smiled and picked a book off the shelf, reading to her little brother until he was half-asleep. By the time she finished Alexander was starting to doze off.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Sleep tight, Alex," she said, kissing her brother on the forehead.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Cassandra," he muttered.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Yes?"</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "What happened to mother?"</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Cassandra was taken back by this question. She honestly didn't know; all she heard were rumors, but the rumors told many different things: alien abductions, possible rape and murder, affairs, and the probable involvement of Cassandra's own fiancée--one detail she refused to believe. She couldn't possibly relate all that to a 10-year-old.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "I don't know, Alex," she said finally. "I don't know. No one knows."</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> She was wrong on that last part. Someone knew, but wasn't saying anything.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> The exhausted Alexander seemed content with her response and turned over, mumbling, "Good night." Cassandra went back to her room and lay down, thinking some more. She had always been quiet, mysterious, and thoughtful, constantly thinking, so this wasn't really new. Mortimer knocked on her door.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "Cassandra? It's me," he said, entering slowly. "You're up late."</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> "I'm just nervous about the big day," Cassandra said.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Mortimer made a face at the mentioning of the wedding. "Well, I brought you some tea. I'll just set it down here."</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> A thought came to Cassandra, and before her father could mutter "Good night" she blurted out, "What happened to my mother?"</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Mortimer's eyes widened and he staggered back. "Nothing," he said suddenly, furious. "Nothing at all. Now don't you ever bring that up again, Cassandra. Ever!" And with that, he stormed out of the room.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;"> Cassandra was shocked. She had never thought to ask her father about Bella, but now that she did she saw an interesting reaction. So she lay on her bed, thinking. About Mortimer. About Bella. About the wedding. About Don.</p>

===Chapter 2: Don's Love(s)===

"Oh, Don, no," Kaylynn moaned as he smothered her with kisses. "Don, please! You invited me here to clean up..."

"Oh, you maids and your 'professionalism,'" Don scoffed coquettishly, pulling her closer.

"Oh, you maids and your 'professionalism,'" Don scoffed coquettishly, pulling her closer.
"Don, please," she said as he felt his way up Kaylynn's short maid's dress.

Don's passionate kissing was too much, and she fell victim to his charms. "Come on, Kaylynn," he said smoothly. "Let's take a dip in the Hot Tub. You know you want to."

"Don, please," she said as he felt his way up Kaylynn's short maid's dress.
Without saying anything, Kaylynn stripped down until she was wearing nothing but a bra and panties. "Will this work as a swimsuit?" she asked flirtatiously. Don laughed and nudged for her to follow him, heading upstairs to the second-floor deck of his condo.

The two dipped into Don's hot tub with the star-studded sky over them, where Don invited Kayynn to cuddle with him. Before long, cuddling turned to kissing, which turned into making out, which rapidly turned into WooHoo.

"Oh, Don," Kaylynn sighed, sweating from the heat of the Tub and their love. "That was so... Steamy!" "Well, it's getting late now," Done said, kissing her again on the lips. "But I will see you tomorrow again, right?" he asked.

Kaylynn smiled. "You're my favorite customer," she said. "Even if your house is the biggest pigsty in Pleasantview."

Don laughed. "I'll see you tomorrow, love."

He watched her as she left, and once he was sure she was gone he called up Nina Caliente to invite her over for a WooHoo session, too. It was quick yet fun, especially since both of them were huge Romance Sims. "Oh, Don, that was amazing!" she sighed dreamily. "Listen, what are you doing tomorrow?"

The two dipped into Don's hot tub with the star-studded sky over them, where Don invited Kayynn to cuddle with him. Before long, cuddling turned to kissing, which turned into making out, which rapidly turned into WooHoo.
Don remembered his date with Kaylynn and quickly said, "Eh, late hours at the hospital for my internship. Why?"

"Oh, well, I was going to invite you on a date, but I see you're busy. Maybe the next day?"

"Oh, Don," Kaylynn sighed, sweating from the heat of the Tub and their love. "That was so... Steamy!" "Well, it's getting late now," Done said, kissing her again on the lips. "But I will see you tomorrow again, right?" he asked.
The next day was Don's wedding to Cassandra. Don figured he might as well come clean about that, since it wouldn't sound so bad if he explained himself. So he spoke, and told Nina everything. Well, not everything. He revealed that he had proposed to Cassandra Goth, which was true. He also revealed he was due to marry her, which was true, the day after tomorrow, also true. He told her it was purely for money, since he was broke and in debt, which was not true. Originally, he had gone after the strict, somber, and morally superior Cassandra for a bit of a challenge, and he won. Now was marrying her for her money to pay off a debt, but it wasn't originally about that. He also said the debt was piled up from medical school, which was partly true. Med school had cost him a hefty bit of money, but he had also piled up debts from his countless expensive dates with numerous women. But Nina didn't need to know that part.

"Well, I guess I understand," Nina said. "I mean, you're not the only one going after people for their money. I'll see you later, Don."

Kaylynn smiled. "You're my favorite customer," she said. "Even if your house is the biggest pigsty in Pleasantview."
The two said their goodbyes and Nina started making her way home. A cop car pulled up next to her. "What's a pretty girl like you doing out so late?" the cop asked.

Nina giggled. "I was just going home, officer."

Don laughed. "I'll see you tomorrow, love."
"Well, why don't I give you a ride?" he offered.

"Really? Oh, thank you!" Nina gushed flirtatiously.

"170 Main Street," Nina said.

"Well, I'm going there right now!" he said. "There was a robbery at that place. A few other policemen are already there."

"What?!"

"What?!"

The cop quickly drove Nina over to her condo, where numerous other officers were going in and out. Nina's twin Dina stood outside in her nightgown.

"Oh, Nina, it was awful!" she cried once she saw her sister. "They stole the stereo, and some of the vases and decor, and the hot tub! Seriously, how do you steal a hot tub?!"

"We're sorry, ladies," one of the policemen said. "Looks like he got away."

<span style="text-align:left;"> "We'll never afford to buy all that stuff again!" Dina bellowed. Nina hushed her sister.</span>

"Calm down, Dina," she soothed.

"We don't have any money!" Dina cried.

The cop quickly drove Nina over to her condo, where numerous other officers were going in and out. Nina's twin Dina stood outside in her nightgown.

"Yes we do," Nina reassured. "And his name is Mortimer Goth. Dina, we're running out of time. If you really want to get rich, you're going to have to seduce Morty a little bit quicker."

"It doesn't matter. Find a way to get him to propose. If not, I'm going to have to take over this operation. We went through a lot of trouble to get him; we have to act before we lose him."

Dina sighed. "Alright then. I guess you're right."
"But, he's old," Dina said.

"Great!" Nina laughed. "If we play our cards right, the Goth fortune can be in our hands in months!"
Dina sighed. "Alright then. I guess you're right."

"The only thing in our way," Dina stated, "are his children.
