Prisoned

I opened my eyes, I was in some thought of bed made of iron. I looked at ceiling it was rustic and makeshift. The room was very small and not vey homely. The floor was cold stone with a rug near the bed. Its was very simplistic colours and looked very old and used. The only objects in the room was the light on the ceiling and the table near the bed. The room in a few words was makeshift and old. I sat up and one word shot into my mind, "Michael!" I screamed.

The word Michael echoed through the room, there was no reply, I ran to do the door. It was bolted and locked, made of iron, I wouldn't be able to knock it down. I looked around the room, there was nothing useful to break out. I was trapped. Alexander must have captured me, he must know about my parents job. What has he done with Michael, I screamed help until my voice could not take it anymore. I looked on the table and saw a meal, I slowly ate it. I forget how hungry I was, it was not that nice but it was better than nothing.

I then noticed another thing on the bed a book, I open it up. It was my favourite book, what a coincident. I opened it up and starting reading chapter 1, Captured and waiting. I flicked to the next page, when I heard some footsteps. I could tell it was one person, male. There footsteps were loud but with no echo. Each footstep brought me closer to my fate. What was in store for me, did not look good. I listed in my mind all my achievements in life and what I would of done if I lived. I would of lived a long life and might of have kids. I then thought of Michael so younger than me, never been to school. I should of saved him, but how.

The key latched in the door and the strange figure entered the room...

Rescue...

I was afraid but I didn't show it, stay strong for appearance's sake. I looked up expecting a guard or maybe even Alexander himself (although I doubted I'd get the 'honour'.) But it wasn't any of them, in fact I didn't even consider that he even knew I was here. My Dad. I ran over to him to hug him but he gestured to be quiet. He led me by my hand out of the prison. It was dark in the corridors, I used to be afraid of the dark as a little girl but that fear had gone long ago.

I tried to catch my Dad's eye, to see what was going on, my Mum used to say you could see a lot from a person's eyes. He kept his head turned away though, only looking forward. A we were walking, I heard voices coming from a corridor ahead. Guards. Dad heard them too and reacted fast. He pulled us both into a small door on the other side of the wall which turned out to be a cupboard. I wanted to ask him so much but now wan't right. We waited until the voices had passed and then he got out.

Finally we got out of the prison after what seemed to be like hours even thoug it was probably less. 'Dad,what should we do.' I asked. He looked away and told me 'You need to walk away from here. Keep on walking north to the next town and find the safe house. You'll know it when you see it, it is distinctive from the rest. As for me, I have to go. Your mother needs me and I can't fail her.' He kissed me on the forehead and seemed to vanish leaving me alone in the moonlight. I did what he told me. I walked.

The Journey

After my rescue by my Dad I began running to the north, to the next town to escape Alexander's raid of my town, I had thought much about my home that I was running away from, I'll miss Sunset Valley but I hope I can make the best of my next town, it's strange that this town I'm going to hasn't been talked about much so I'm of what to expect, I managed to buy a bag and some food and drink for my journey to the town north of Sunset Valley.

I had sad thoughts of Michael Bachelor, I hoped that Alexander would at the very least have mercy on one as young as him, but from what I've seen it seems almost too unlikely, so far I know Alexander is ruthless, merciless and evil, he also seems to be rather sly and very smart, I had thoughts of my parents, I wished them luck and prayed them luck.

But as I was having these thoughts a soldier under Alexander stopped me and yelled, "Stop her! She has defied the watchers will" I ran but I got cornered, but this man was shot by an unseen person, I breathed a sigh of relief and moved on to the town north as fast as I could.

When I got there, I immediately thought this town looks very strange, but I moved on, I read the sign it said, "Welcome to Moonlight Falls" I wondered where I'd sleep for the night when...
