*The Cybermen ship exterior seen in the ending, resembles closely to the Cybermen spaceship seen in "Revenge of the Cybermen".
*The Cybermens energy lasers have changed from red lasers, to blue lightening like lasers. The lightening is reminist of the lasers the Cybermen use in "The Moonbase", "The Tomb of the Cybermen" and "The Wheel in Space".

*At the beginning when the cybermen sees the Doctor and Katarina, there was a shot of what the cybermen was seeing, from it's proceptive.
*Also at the beginning, when the Doctor and Katarina run away from the cybermen. There was a scene that had many more shots of them running to where they were running to.
