A few months after Sebastian's birth, opportunity came knocking. The position of lead journalist opened up at a TV station over in Starlight Shores. Starr went for it after encouragement from her husband, and by some miracle ended up getting the job. The family packed up the house, the house that both Tristan and Starr had known their whole lives, and relocated to [[Starlight Shores]]. Tristan ended up quitting his job to look after Sebastian.
Starr's career continued on. Sebastian grew up, Dawn went off to college, and Tristan eventually went back to work. She eventually landed herself the position of lead reporter.
After graduating Dawn quickly married her college sweetheart and gave Tristan and Starr two grandchildren, Dean and Megan.

By now Dawn had moved away to [[Moonlight Fals]], believing it to be a better place to raise her children. Minty had graduated from college and returned with her girlfriend Ann. Sebastian was in high school as Starr was finally promoted to Editor-in-Chief. Ann, however, was subsequently kicked out of the house following her breakup with Minty, and Minty moved out as well.
