Bob woke up extremely early in the morning, he couldn't wait for the art competion. He and Betty were bound to win it. He checked his watch, 7:13 a nice and early time. He combed his back and went to check Betty. The ship would left the port at 7:00.
All the ships had parked on a small island in the evening so the crew could rest. The Riverview ship was the first ship to start the cruise. Each day one ship would leave to go to an island and then come back home. The voyage took a week.
On his way to better he started to ponder why would Sovereign Alexander I, who sent 52 teenagers to the death but then sent 52 people on a luxury voyage. It then suddenly clicked. They were 52 teens sent to fight on a island. He ran to Betty and the other Riverview people and warned them.
They decided that Betty and Bob, would find food and Laurel would find weapons. Maximus would demolish any wood, including chairs and tables. They met an hour later and dumped it into a pile. They found a bags and put them inside, at least they had the advantage. They then ran to the lifeboat but saw the crew sailing away of them with sack of money.In the opposite direction they noticed a small island, the island most them will die on but also the one they will survive on.
There was a loud crash and the ship stopped. The humming of engine stopped, the sound of waves crashing stopped, everyone stopped talking. The boat was near the island. They jumped of the boat into the cool water. Bob swam to the island first, then Betty and Laurel and finally Maximus. As soon as they left the boat it exploded, luckily they had the supplies on them. Laurel growled at the island she hated the outside whilst Maximus marvelled at it.
They were going to survive, they kept telling themselves. If only it was true.
