When her mother invited Cassandra, married to [[Darren Dreamer]], Darren and [[Dirk Dreamer|Dirk]] also came, and Susan met Dirk, whom she immediately considered a very attractive boy and very special. She befriended him and had her first kiss with him, it was a very special moment that as a family Sim, she never forgot it. She realized she was in love and Dirk was her first love, but she also learned he was very rebellious - the next night he invited her for a sneak out, she, hesitant, accepted, but she feared what her mother would if she caught them. The police took her back home, and that made her frustrated, unlike what she tought her mother understood, after all Susan was a [[teen]]ager and she considered that.
By talking to her colleagues, she discovered that Dirk, her love, was going steady with [[Lilith Pleasant]], this broke her heart, and she felt empathy for Lilith who was known for being the most unhappy girl in the town, and Susan as motherly didn't want to take away her only pleasure - Dirk. She ended everything with Dirk, Dirk still was friends with her, and she would never forget him too, and forgave him for his betray.
Susan then thought in going to college, she had the best grades of her class, was in the honor roll and had 3 [[scholarship]], she only feared to leave her fragile mother alone, and she really didn't know what would choose for speciality.
