Thatcher returns in The Sims 4. Unlike his appearance in The Sims 3, Thatcher starts off as any other newly made sim (in other words he wasn't born wealthy), and instead of working in politics he works in the business career.

 

 

The wedding eventually came and the couple married in the park in the middle of town. Unfortunetly, the wedding was the only good thing about the marriage. Jessica described the marriage as "boring," despite the relationship not really changing from dating to being married. Thatcher told her if she wanted to leave then she could just do so. She initially refused. Thatcher tried to make things work, but it soon became clear that Jessica was not interested in their relationship now that they were married. He tried taking her out on romantic dates and giving her love and attention but she never seemed like she cared. This deeply hurt Thatcher and he told her he wanted a divorce. Jessica acted nonchalant and went upstairs to bed. Seeing as his marriage was now ending he began a relationship with Dina Caliente (and had a drunken one-night-stand with her sister Nina).
