The patriarch of the family, [[Fanon:Nigel Plumb|Nigel Plumb]], was said to have been an immigrant from [[Riverview]] by way of Yorkshire, England. The unlikely matriarch of the family was one [[Jamie Jolina]], who passed on her musical traits to several of her descendants, including, most notably, her son, [[Fanon:Nathan Jolina-Plumb|Nathan Jolina-Plumb]], a renowned musician and composer. Her grandson, [[Fanon:Sebastian Plumb|Sebastian Plumb]], is an actor and musician. Her granddaughter, [[Fanon:Savannah Plumb|Savannah Plumb]], is an author and adventurer who is now a part-time professor of history and paranormal studies at [[Sims University]].
 
The Plumbs, blessed beyond belief with high intelligence (via Jamie Jolina) and artistic talent, also have a history of self-destructive behavior.

Calculating and manipulative, Savannah gets what she wants and nobody can stop her. Savannah began rebelling against her mother's showbiz agenda from the cradle, wanting no part of her family's glitzy lifestyle. Instead, she chose to travel the world, collecting artifacts and writing books about her travels, and became the Sim world's premier paranormal studies expert. She shocked Sunset Valley by marrying her high school classmate, Andrew Cheesman.

Unlike his more focused older sister, he has drifted through life. He's had no concrete foundation to which he could ground himself. Blessed with good looks, musical ability, smarts, and acting talent, it could well have been that Sebastian is too gifted, unable to focus on one thing. He's been unlucky in love, too, his last relationship ended spectacularly, in the tabloids.
Noah Henry Plumb - Son of Nathan Plumb and his ex, Holly Alto. Noah may have had even more musical talent than Nathan did, and that was saying something, considering Nathan composed his first songs before beginning school. Like his father, Noah is deeply introverted and tended to drift through his life. He got on the orchestra as a string quartet member, but lacked the ambition to go further in his career. Nathan readily admits that when Noah was born he was not ready to be a father, and he also admits that Noah has suffered as a result.

When she died, her sister took him on temporarily, and then he moved on briefly on his own, in a house near the beach. He first encountered his future wife, the haughty heiress Savannah Plumb, at the school they attended. He fell in love with her instantly and then went on a wild pursuit of her hand in marriage. The reasons he married a woman so completely opposite from him remain a mystery. Funny, outdoorsy, and athletic, he provides a nice counterbalance to his serious, intellectual wife.
'''Satis Amin Plumb''' - The first of the two children Savannah controversially adopted from Egypt. They instantly connected over a love of books and reading. After arriving in Sunset Valley, Satis began to thrive in Savannah's care, eventually becoming editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, becoming prom queen and student body president. Satis defied her adoptive mother by returning to Egypt after graduation.

He had a much more difficult time adjusting to life in Sunset Valley than his sister did, and, his adoptive parents would learn later, is dyslexic. His troubles led to a protracted sentence at Fort Starch Military Academy with his brother.
'''Andrew Cheesman Jr. (AJ)''' - Fluent in Arabic due to his Egyptian nanny and Egyptian adopted siblings, he is the oldest of Andrew and Savannah's children and so far, the only boy. He is unquestionably Savannah's favorite child. He resembles her in personality a lot more than he does his father, though he lacks the manipulativeness. After a rebellious adolescence, which resulted in a sentence at Fort Starch Military Academy, he seems to be heading back onto the straight and narrow, studying for a degree in aeronautics.
'''Sageblossom Margaret Plumb Cheesman (Sage)''' - Daughter of Andrew and Savannah. She has inherited her father's love of the outdoors and an artistic side from her mother's relatives. She has a sweet, gentle nature inherited from her father, but this is also combined with an independent and stubborn streak inherited from her mother. Sage is a vegetarian and environmentalist who loves animals.
'''Sierramyst Jolina Plumb Cheesman''' - Daughter of Andrew and Savannah. Is athletic like her father and wants to become a professional athlete. Her adolescent rebellion was even more pronounced than her mother's as she has compiled an extensive criminal record, with arrests for breaking and entering, malicious destruction of property, curfew violations, truancy, and assault.
