His pets are [[Oopsie-Daisy Marshall]], [[BaBa Marshall]], and [[GooGoo Marshall]]. According to the family biography, either both or he or Kim is sterile and cannot produce children: this is not the case according to the case by game mechanics because both are adults and are normal Sims. To substitute children, they adopt their pets and treat them their children.
