Festivals make a return in The Sims 4: Snowy Escape. Three festivals occur regularly in Mt. Komorebi, in a similar fashion to those in San Myshuno: Festival of Lights, Festival of Snow and Festival of Youth. Each festival happens in one of the three neighborhoods in Mt. Komorebi.

In each neighborhood there is an information board, where Sims can see the festival schedule and read about the next festival, such as what activities and traditions this festival has to offer.
Festival of Lights
Like The Sims 4: City Living, when a festival is about to begin, an identifying jingle will play and a notification will appear letting to know that the festival is about to begin. This notification also can be used to teleport Sims to these festivals, if they are located in another neighborhood. Festival objects and activities will appear on the neighborhood where the festival is located in. Around an hour before the festival ends, a notification will notify that the festival is ending. After the festival ends, all objects will disappear and are replaced by normal street objects.

Schedules
Each festival has its own schedule that consists of time, day and location. Unlike San Myshuno festivals, festivals in Mt. Komorebi only appear on weekends.
