Sims can start fishing on most fresh water ponds or beach in the Neighborhood. ▼

Fishing spawners result in hot spots when fishing, and provide specific fish that cannot be fished up from normal water.
At some fishing spots, you can see several fish are floating underwater or jumping above water when watched carefully in closeup.▼
When a fishing spot is placed on a water source, fish will jump out of it, and certain fish become available.
