Flat lives in Riverview with his wife [[Flo Broke|Flo]], son [[Skip Broke|Skip]], and daughter [[Ruby Broke]]. His brother, [[Buck Broke]], nephew [[Trigger Broke]], and niece, [[Susie Broke]], live with him as well. It appears that he and Flo most likely had Skip on their last days as adults. Even though he is an [[elder]] in the game, his hair is a mix of brown and grey. In this game, Flat is balding with a full beard. Like most of his family, Flat is fat, has the [[Party Animal]] trait, and he only works a low-paying part-time job, perhaps due to his old age. He is friends with everyone in his family and [[Elaine Joy]], [[Ginny McDermott]] and [[Bennie Dean]] who all work at the supermarket. In order for Flat to complete his lifetime wish, he must either divorce Flo and remarry or have an affair with another Sim as Flo is too old to be pregnant, or he could adopt.
