'''Food bowls''' are objects present in ''[[The Sims: Unleashed]]'', ''[[The Sims 2: Pets]]'', and ''[[The Sims 3: Pets]]''. Food bowls are used to fulfill the [[Motive (pet)#Hunger|hunger]] motive of [[cat]]s and [[dog]]s. It can only be used by a pet if a [[Sim]] has filled the food bowl. Filling the food bowl costs §10.

In ''The Sims: Unleashed'', food bowls are double bowls, and two pets can eat out of one at the same time. Also, food bowls do not need to be cleaned in ''Unleashed''.

Cleaning a food bowl will empty it, but the "Clean" interaction will appear well before the bowl will become so dirty that pets avoid it, so it is enough to clean the bowl before filling it.
