so out of all of the ones i have listed, which is best for gaming in general and which would be ebst for sims 3 and 2? I also would wantto be able to use mods or make mods.--Balmz (talk) 02:18, December 9, 2012 (UTC)

Imo all of the ones you've listed would be more than capable of running ts3. In general you want at least 4GB of ram to run ts3, so if you want one which will last you for a long time and will be able to play new games for a while, I'd go with one of these two, being a bit more inclined towards the Acer. 2tb of memory on it means you should be able to store a lot of stuff, and 10gb of ram should be able to handle pretty much any game there is. As for modding, I have never done that myself but I'm guessing that more or less any computer could do that. I don't call myself a professional on this sort of stuff, so it might be worthwhile going to some PC gaming sites like KBMOD and getting a little more information. Nevertheless, good luck, and I hope I was of some help :D ђ talk 03:22, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
FWIW, TS3 isn't too demanding on the CPU or GPU (Intel HD 4000 can run it at 50-60fps with all settings highest save smooth edges (anti-aliasing); turning that on caps it back at 30fps) but is a major RAM hog. For me, the game uses 1.7GB of RAM (with LN, Generations and Seasons installed) on a laptop with 6GB of RAM and apparently at least 5GB was in use at the time, combined with TS3, Steam and Chrome, with the latter two only being minor issues. I'd go for the one with 10GB of RAM to be on the safe side as well as being future proofed. Lost Labyrinth (c)(b) 11:22, December 9, 2012 (UTC)
