Can somebody please help. Thanks Sonya
:Some computers can't run ts2 anymore as it is a pretty old game and can't handle the newer graphics cards, processors, etc. That said I think it would be a file issue in this case. If you've got it installed, uninstall/reinstall and try again, other than that I'm out of ideas, sorry. {{WHsig|07:12, March 27, 2012 (UTC)}}
::Yeah it looks to me that it's actually an issue with the optical disc itself. How long ago did you buy the game? I brought the PC version 2 years ago and it's the DVD-ROM version; it installed flawlessly. {{GGsigLabSig}} 08:32, March 27, 2012 (UTC)
:::If it's an issue with the disc, it is legal to download the game from any site and use your serial number to install it. You technically don't play for the files, but for the serial. If you want a replacement disk, I think EA sells them for $35 each. Hmmm... very bizarre... I guess it does depend on the speed of your computer. If you are going to get The Sims 2, I'd recommend Double Deluxe as it's the most recent version of the base game (made in 2007/08). It might have something to do with the disc, as that was my problem- heavy scratches don't help. You might need to get a new disc...
