I've created a page - Player challenge - that attempts to resolve a couple issues regarding pages on The Sims Wiki, specifically Alice and Kev and Legacy Challenge, both of which are possibly in violation of TSW:NP. My creation of this page is an attempt at a compromise between the policy as it is written (which prohibits this content on the Wiki), and the goal of providing relevant information on what are actually pretty notable topics.

I chose to be bold in starting the aforementioned Player challenge page, but I've also chosen to immediately start the discussion about whether it does not itself violate the Notability Policy, and whether we should make an exception in its case. My belief is that, by writing a relatively non-specific article about multiple examples of more specific, non-notable (at least according to our policy) topics, we are in essence providing content which is notable. Certainly many Sims players have played with these challenges before and are familiar with them, and they do augment gameplay - does that not make them notable in some form?

So, to sum up... I created Player challenge to aggregate several non-notable articles, in order to provide an article which is actually notable enough to be kept. This seemed preferable to deleting the articles outright. I am now asking that we determine whether the page I created is in line with our policy. If it is not, I ask that we consider making an exception.

Forgive my boldness. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 05:16, May 17, 2013 (UTC)

I support keeping this page, as it is a good general article on many notable (perhaps not wiki-wise, but in The Sims series' community) subjects. --Bleeh(talk) (blog) 01:07, May 18, 2013 (UTC)
