Looking at the [[Maxis]] article, I've noticed that every studio that's developed a release for the series has been listed there, two of which aren't even subsidiaries of Maxis - Playfish and EA Black Box, the latter of whom were closed down earlier this year and were never a subsidiary of Maxis, so I'm not sure where that theory is coming from.
