So when playing legacy are you only supposed to control the heir? If so, or not, when is the next heir supposed to take over?

As quoted on the official Legacy Challenge rule stated when the founder and/or heir in question then the child (heir) officially takes over. It does not matter on the number of children to have but atleast to have two children to be pretty sure the legacy to continue, howver, if both children dies prior to the next child(ren) of that heir, then the challenge is over. As Gene Wilder said in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory said, you lose, you don't get anything, good day sir.
