It seems this discussion has reached an impasse. There are several open questions about how we should proceed from here, but no clear consensus for any one solution, or for making a change to the current arrangement. I think a vote would be useful to help overcome this hurdle. The first question that needs to be answered is simply whether or not a change is even warranted in the way we present information about TS4 Sims and families; if no change is needed, then making additional discussions about the particular kinds of changes is pointless. As like you said, some information contradicts previous information that has been established, and if The Sims Team decide to make The Sims 5, continuing in TS4 Universe then more information will probably start to contradict. I think it's best to set up a change now.
