I have a question about building tiles in sims 2. Can I rotate the tiles so I can make a pattern? For example: there is a tile pattern with a sun, but it shows only 1 quarter of the sun. So, I wonder, how can I rotate the tiles to form a whole sun? I could really use your help... 79.167.133.176 (talk) 11:10, September 12, 2013 (UTC)

I assume you're talking about floor tiles. If you have Pets or later, you can rotate floor tiles with the < and > keys. Dharden (talk) 13:23, September 12, 2013 (UTC)
Remember to rotate it back to the original angle. If you don't do this, some tiles that have patterns will have their pattern "broken", like one of the linoleum tiles, I guess? Nikel Talk Vote! 16:55, September 12, 2013 (UTC)
Not necessarily. Some tiles are made so they make a pattern when they're laid down without being rotated, while others are made so that some of them have to be rotated to make the pattern. Dharden (talk) 17:37, September 12, 2013 (UTC)
For the former, if you rotate the tile and cover the whole room, the pattern will be messed up. These tiles shouldn't be rotated if you want them to work correctly. And I think one of the tiles is poured, not linoleum. Nikel Talk Vote! 18:17, September 12, 2013 (UTC)
