In reading this article I realized that our wiki has very little, if anything, as far as formal standards regarding what is acceptable to upload here, and any action we may take in situations where uploads violate copyright. This blog post wasn't when I first realized this, but it is now spurring me to start this discussion. Even if the response to this had been more mixed, twenty responses is still amazing! I'd like to extend a special thank you to everyone who came here and gave feedback. Out of twenty responses, all were in support of the policy.This constitutes sufficient (and overwhelming) consensus to approve the policy. As such, the [[The Sims Wiki:Image and file policy\|Image and File Policy]] is now in effect. The proper changes will be made to organizational templates, policy pages, etc in the coming days.
