So, I have the University and Late Night EPs. I am currently playing in Bridgetown. I see the Purchase Rental Lot option when using my smartphone then click on Real Estate services. Does that mean I buy the lot for others to rent and pay me OR I rent the lot for myself?

AFAIK, the lot is for personal use only. You can switch between the two residential lots as your home base (where you can sleep and where the game will take you if you use the "go home" button). It can't be used to let others to rent your lot like becoming a landlord. No. Nikel Talk – Vote! 05:55, August 22, 2013 (UTC)
