In my honest opinion, that thing can go. The videos it fetches are completely unrelated (for example, I was once reading the article we have on Vacation and the first video that appeared there was a trailer for Apartment Pets) and that thing is useless, like Lab pointed out. I don't get it. 10:48, May 12, 2013 (UTC) |

:I never saw where the "related videos" were all that related. I don't care for it, and wouldn't miss it. Dharden (talk) 12:28, May 12, 2013 (UTC) |

As some of you may know, article pages have a module known as "Related Videos" which Wikia activated out of nowhere. I've noticed that it appears to list videos out of anywhere (like having a listed video for a console game on the article for Elevator) and it appears to be tedious enough to not warrant the effort to improve things. Despite hardly promoting it, I've seen a few complaints about it on various talk pages.
As the title hints, I'm proposing that we contact Wikia to remove the extension. I know this is possible as I've noticed it's been done on other wikis. We've utilised the gallery tabs to list YouTube videos for specific articles, have done for a very long time now and it's much more convenient and direct this way.
