Well, it pains me to say this, but I have some serious thoughts about shutting down or retiring the [[Project:Fanon Battles|fanon battles]]. Maybe temporarily. Maybe forever.

::::::::'''Comment''' - I'd vote but I think it's best that I don't because, until a couple minutes ago, I wasn't aware that fanon battles even existed. It seems like it was one of those things that may pass unnoticed by most of the community (I found out about this discussion and, afterwards, about the battles themselves while reading the Wiki's news). They aren't mentioned in the main page and I only found them on the Fanon Portal (I can see why that is, but, again, it hurt these battles). I think everything has been said here. Consensus is favorable for the retirement of the fanon battles.
As a note to everyone, retiring the fanon battles is not an indefinite or infinite thing.
