My Sim just got stuck on an 'island', when i told him to go get a gem. I didn't see how he got there. I was watching the Gem and he never showed up so I went looking for him. He's not frozen, he's stranded on a little island along the beach in Dragon Valley. When i click for him to go back across the water, the I cant go there icon shows and he stomps in frustration. He is content to play with his dragon, and will make phone calls to chat with friends. I recently used an elixir to change him to witch, from fairy, but I don't think that got him stranded. He played with no problems for an hour or so after i used the elixir on him. I read through help here and other sites before I figured I'd ask. I used the moveobjects on command, but that only works on the sims home lot. I don't know how to make him get off the island. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Mia
- Hi Mia! there are two ways to fix this issue.
- Typing in resetsim (your sim's firstname) (Your sims lastname) in the cheat box. Should put :your sim at their home lot with the gem or...
- Type in testingcheatsenabled true. Shift and click land. then click teleport me here. Remember to type testingcheatsenabled false or it could hurt your game.
Dear Alison, [Startup], Thanks for the wonderful advice. They both worked! I used reset sim first, quit without saving and then tried 'Teleport me here'. I will remember these as they would come in handy during play! ~Mia
