Does a sim need to be on the same lot as their child when their grandchild is born in order to fulfill their want for a grandchild? What about when they want their child to get married? Is this also the same for the lifetime wants: 6 grandchildren and marry off 6 children? Would inviting them to the wedding suffice for the marriage? I'm sorry this is a lot of questions, but thank you to anyone who took the time to read it.[[Special:Contributions/198.151.13.7|198.151.13.7]] ([[User talk:198.151.13.7|talk]]) 13:35, July 24, 2012 (UTC)

No, even if they're living on a different lot, they'll still get it fulfilled. So if the person has their baby, and their parent had a want relating to that and they're on another lot, the want will be fulfilled the next time you play their household. It's the same for all of them. :) MysteryCookieLover
