How do i put sims2 in a small moveable window like sims3 can do? I have all the sims expansion pack, and run it from the sims2 mansion and gardens pack. ive tried that one where you add -w" or --w" to the end of the target line in the properties but that doesnt seem to work. What happens when you add -w" to the end of your target? Does it still go fullscreen?

you must add space and then do -w if you haven't.

yes i added a space and yes it still goes full screen. i tried it on sims2 base game and one the disc i use, no luck.

It does work in my other laptop. (My laptop cannot play in windowed mode as it'll crash. Weird, isn't it?) Remember that you must make a new shortcut of your directory \EA Games\The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff\TSBin\Sims2EP9.exe, not the one already on your desktop, because it's a shortcut to your launcher. I didn't remember whether you should add the -w inside the quotation mark or outside it, but I guess you'd better try both. It's inside, IIRC. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 11:35, September 25, 2012 (UTC)
