There's a little discussion going on at Talk:World between Nikel23 and myself regarding whether The Sims 3 towns should be classified as worlds, in the same vein as worlds from The Sims 4, classified as neighborhoods as in The Sims and The Sims 2 (which is where they currently are), or whether we should pursue some third option.

:Anyway, I'm separating "worlds" and "neighborhoods" not by how they technically work, but by the terminology used. We know how different neighborhoods in TS1/TS2/TS4 and worlds in TS3/TS4 work, as well as TS1/TS2 neighborhoods with TS3 worlds. I'm trying to say that separating TS4 on its own is not unique. That means we're specializing TS4 for some reason, ignoring the fact that TS3 is also unique. This is why I suggest we should keep TS3/TS4 worlds into the same page (World), and TS1/TS2/TS4 neighborhoods into the same page (Neighborhood). Each series is separated by sections. The Sims 4 is now out. What are everyone's thoughts now? -- <font color="navy">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="green">talk</font> ~ <font color="green">blog</font> 02:33, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
:I'm not changing my mind. We haven't had enough input. If we can't settle this, the articles might as well stay as they are now, but I don't expect that to happen. :Nonetheless, I'm not sure how to make others more aware of this discussion... ==Conclusion==
There's no substantive opposition here to calling TS3 worlds "worlds." So, that's what we'll call them from now on. - <font color="navy">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="green">talk</font> ~ <font color="green">blog</font> 04:34, September 10, 2014 (UTC)
