Hello,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I guess I only find out this way :p

I was recently looking at the Dutch version of The Sims Wiki ( http://nl.sims.wikia.com/wiki/Speciaal:WikiActivity ) and saw it not really up to date. Now I'm wondering is it possible to change the layout as well, as in the diamond background etc.? Or do I need to be an admin to do that? Just so it looks more like the English and other versions of the Wiki.

Thanks for your help.

In order to change the backgrounds, logos, etc of a wiki you need to be an administrator. Looking at their list of users, it appears as if they only have one administrator (who is also likely the founder of the wiki), but they haven't edited anything on that wiki since May. That means the wiki is probably available for adoption, which is the process you'd have to follow to get administrative rights there. Let us know if and when you've become an administrator there, and we'll be happy to help you update your layout and appearance. -- LiR speak ~ read 16:25, August 26, 2012 (UTC)

When I applied for adminship the administrator suddenly became active again, so we had a few talks and he gave me some bureaucrat and rollback-rights. (If these are the correct terms). Is it possible for me to change anything about the layout like background and such to make it more connected to the English Wiki now? (that was the whole purpose of getting these rights I guess). Or do I need to be an administator? Thanks
