I seem to remember playing a (fan-made?) text adventure starring Bob Newbie many years ago. It featured screenshots of roms and buidings from the Sims 1, and the plot was basically this:
You are Bob Newbie, and you come up with the idea for the Sims. You take that idea to Will Wright, and he steals it, knock you out, and locks you up in a prison. From there, your goal is to escape and thwart (?) Will Wright's plans.
Am I the only one who remembers this, or was this a real thing? Also, would it be possible to find it again, or is it forever lost to the Internet. I feel like this is an important piece of Sims history if it still exists. Thanks in advance for any leads!
