Alright, third time's the charm, I hope.

I initially proposed a Rumored Games Policy in response to a certain permanently-banned chronic liar imaginative contributor. It received support from all of three people and, while I was pleased that it received no negative response, three people is hardly consensus. So, with the buzz about University Life rumors at the tail end of 2012, I decided to propose the policy again. Again, the responses I got were good but hardly a shining example of overwhelming support from the community. I was planning on bringing the matter up for more focused debate instead of letting the matter drop once again, but by a stroke of fate, EA decided to throw out everything but the kitchen sink and basically made the initial Rumored Games policy fix only half the problem.

I'm resolved not to let this die again, but unlike last time, I believe I finally have a comprehensive policy that covers not only rumored games, but information about confirmed games that are not released - an issue that we've always dealt with informally, but one which I believe may be more of a pressing matter this year given the confirmed but vague games we've got - the games are confirmed to be in development but aside from the general theme we don't know anything, and we don't have a policy that governs additions to the articles we do have.

With all this in mind, I have drafted up the Unreleased Games Policy, and ask for any and all input. Specifically, I'm looking at this point to see if anyone cares to suggest any changes to the proposal. If you think the proposal is good as-is, please indicate your support below. If you don't think we should go with the proposal at all, please indicate your opposition below. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 09:06, January 15, 2013 (UTC)
