On one of my dorms in The Sims 2: University, the mailbox is stuck with the flag up. When the mail carrier comes, he looks at it as though he doesn't know what to do, and leaves without leaving any bills. Anyone have any ideas as to how I might unstick this mailbox? I think that deleting the mailbox and placing a new one with moveobjects would be the way to go. I don't think there is an actual new mailbox in the buy catalog so you might need to use the duplicate tool (does this exist in TS2, or any sims game for that matter? I recall something like this but i haven't played TS in forever). That said, if you can't place a new mailbox I think moving the sims out of the lot and back in again would work as well. ―ฬђ ^talk 04:25, March 20, 2013 (UTC)

There isn't a mailbox in the TS2 buy catalog, but I know a buyable mailbox has been made. The "eyedropper" is a sort of duplicate tool, but does not work on things that cannot be bought. Someone elsewhere suggested using Force Error to reset the mailbox. Dharden (talk) 13:13, March 21, 2013 (UTC)
