I prefer to have Cassandra leave Don at the altar, because being left at the altar is something that Don deserves and not Cassandra. C.Syde65 (talk) 08:16, February 9, 2014 (UTC)

:I think it's a little strange though. It's Cassandra who really wants to marry, as she has Family aspiration, and Don has the Romance aspiration. Though Don might deserve to be dumped, it makes more sense if he dumps her because he's not ready to get married. For some reason I often choose to ignore the fact that Romance Sims like Don typically don't want to get married. In Don's case, I just decide that he might want to get married as binding him to a commitment would still give him opportunities to do romantic things with his wife. With my Pleasantview, I usually let Don leave Cassandra but never get her together with Darren because I like to resurrect his wife and reunite her with her family. Usually Cassandra will become a femme fatale to show Don she has changed. Also, Mary-Sue and Daniel stay together in my game to carry on with their flimsy façade. I forgot to mention that I always have Cassandra Goth, Kaylynn Langerak and Nina Caliente catch Don Lothario cheating with Dina Caliente. I choose Dina because she isn't as close to him as the other three are and so I thought it would come as a "would be" greater shock. Then I have Don kiss Nina or Kaylynn to bring Dina's romantic feelings down. I tend to have Nina, Dina, Kaylynn (and sometimes Bella Goth because Don attempted to make her his fifth lover) witness Cassandra leaving him at the altar. I never let Don successfully attempt to rekindle his romance with his ex-girlfriends, although I let him start a blind date with a bohemian the game made, and the two of them are now engaged.
