Forum:Will The Sims 4 become Open World?
I am a massive Sims fan and I personally love the games series, but I like many people miss the one thing that set The Sims 3 apart from the rest. Open World. Where is my darn Open World?? Will this return to the series I love?? Or is this going to become a feature that is prevelant in the past??

It's pretty much impossible. I doubt the game engine even supports more than one active lot a a time, much less huge open areas like in sims 3. The engine itself is very poorly optimized (ie if you play on a slow processor you get the time bug) so it'll end up a lag fest and probably break things (like sims in other lots might not load at all because the engine wasn't meant for multi active lots so sims in other lots might never spawn) if you increase the area that is loaded at a time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.91.211.9 (talk • contribs) 13:35, March 3, 2017 (UTC) - Please sign your comments with ~~~~
