Completing the Cooking skill challenge

All cooking skill challenges completed.

This game guide is for The Sims 3 only.

In The Sims 3, there are three Cooking skill challenges to complete. This tutorial will assist players in completing these challenges.

Star Chef[edit | edit source]

Star Chefs have prepared at least 50 meals, so they clearly know their way around the kitchen. The dishes they prepare are more pleasing to those that eat them.

How To Unlock: Prepare 50 meals. If the Sim lives alone, instead of serving a meal and eating leftovers, prepare a new meal each time the Sim has to eat to complete this challenge faster. Quick meals are not counted.

World-Class Chef[edit | edit source]

World-Class Chefs have prepared at least 75 dishes and are masters of the kitchen. World-Class chefs are known to prepare meals significantly faster.

How To Unlock: Prepare 75 meals. If the Sim lives alone, instead of serving a meal and eating leftovers, prepare a new meal each time the Sim has to eat to complete this challenge faster. Quick meals are not counted.

Menu Maven[edit | edit source]

Menu Mavens have learned to prepare all the recipes. Recipes are earned by improving the cooking skill and can be purchased at the bookstore. Menu Mavens prepare higher quality food.

How To Unlock: Sims must become level 10 in the Cooking Skill, have acquired all recipes and read them. The Bookworm trait will help Sims to read faster.

  • The Natural Cook trait will allow Sims to gain the Cooking skill faster and complete these challenges more easily.
  • Vampires and Simbots do not eat Sim food, so money, time and resources can be wasted if they try to complete these challenges.
