The '''Get a Life''' mode is a gameplay mode available in the console version of ''[[The Sims (Console)|The Sims]]''. The mode is a goal based storyline in which various objectives must be accomplished to reach new areas, which unlock various items in the [[Buy Mode|
In this mode, you play one [[Sim]] (whom you create), and move through various missions and houses. Your Sim will live with other characters during this time. While you can control these other characters, some of them don't do skill-boosting activities, and they rarely clean or cook.
