In ''[[The Sims: Makin' Magic]]'', a vampire look is one of the options when a magical adult Sim successfully uses the "Beauty or Beast" [[Spells|charm]] . The vampire look is available for both genders. As with all changes made with "Beauty or Beast", it is simply cosmetic, and has no effect on the Sim's interactions with other Sims.
 
*A [[Custom content|hacked object]] object available at [http://www.biedersims.de/vamp_eng.html Biedersims.de] allows for vampires in-game, and affects more than just a Sim's appearance.
 
== [[The Sims 2: Nightlife]] ==
#Send one or more Sims [[Downtown]] at night, and wait for one of the [[Grand Vampire]]s to appear. If one of them is going to appear, it may take a while, so make sure the Sims have have high motives, or that they keep them up.
#Go downtown at night with high needs. You are going to be there for a while
#Have the Sim(s) talk to the Grand Vampire, and build a relationship with him or her. It may not be possible to build the relationship high enough for the [[bite neck]] interaction to become available, but at least get it high enough for the Grand Vampire to accept a phone call or invitation.
#Wait there for a while. Try to find a "Count" or "Contessa". They wear grand clothing and have pale skin and their eyes are red.
#Once the Sim and the Grand Vampire have a high enough relationship, get the two together, and the Grand Vampire may bite the Sim.
#Talk to him/her
 
#Get you're relationship high enough. Remember, you can invite him/her over later, but first you have to know them

A Vampire can be [[influence]]d to bite a Sim's neck, at the cost of 1000 influence points. It is only likely to be successful if a Grand Vampire is influenced to do the biting.
 
===Using a cheat to make a Vampire===
IfA youplayer wantwho wants a Sim to become a Vampire, there iscan also a cheat to accomplish it. It's much easier than trying to find the "Grand VampireVampires" and the cheat enables youplayers to make yourSims Siminto a VampireVampires in any of ''[[The Sims 2]]'' expansions as well as ''[[The Sims: Life Stories]]''.
 
#Press "Ctrl" "Shift" "ctrl-shift-C" to open up the "Cheat Window" either in the neighborhood, or on acheat lotwindow and type: <code>boolProp testingCheatsEnabled true</code>
#When you have the cheat is enabled, just hold the "Shift" button down while you "Left Click"left-clicking on thea Sim. you want to turn into a Vampire. Many new options will appear. FindSelect the option that sayslabeled "Make Vampire"., Yourand the Sim will instantly become a Vampire.
 
TheWhen this is done, the cheat above changes from "Make Vampire" to "Cure Vampire", but unfortunately this does not work. YouUsing "Cure Vampire" will hearproduce the clicking sound that signifies the change, but the Sim remainswill remain a vampire. *You can turn a sim into vampire more easy in The Sims 2 Nightlife if The Sims 2 University installed. With the cost of 1000 influence points, you can influence the grand vampire to bite the neck of the target sim. The bite neck interaction from the grand vampires is always successful.
