==About deleting Families from the Family Bin...==
The Delete Family button actually does not shred off the Sims in the family from the neighbourhood leaving a 1kb character file. It unlinks the Sims, and deletes all of their character file except what is absolutely necessary for them to exist (Leaving about a 7kb file), which leaves them in the same state as pre-made deceased Sims who are unresurrectable. According to the article, "The game does not properly clean out all references to the Sim, which means that memories, gossip, relationships, Sim Wants and Fears, etc. that involve the deleted Sim are now corrupted, as they point to non-existent data." This is not true, because their data that is necessary for this is still existent.
But still, I do not recommend using this button. I mostly used it for testing purposes, and while I do not quite think using it is nearly as severe at the article makes it out to be, I am not saying it is safe!  [[User:Mariaw|Mariaw]] ([[User talk:Mariaw|talk]]) 03:33, March 30, 2018 (UTC)
