Sims working in the [[Lawlaw enforcement]] career can rummagesearch otherthrough residents trashgarbage cans to gather '''Research''', which aids them inbuild earningtheir [[job performance]]. Unlike previous games, the player can simply drag and drop disposable items, such as [[newspaper]]s and plates, onto the garbage can to dispose of them.
