Like all headmasters from the base game, Garrett has 5 points in all areas of his personality. He has the appearance of being an Elder even though he's an Adult. Andrew has the same facial structure as [[Quinten McAuley]].
His personality is randomized when Strangetown is loaded. The following personality is only referenced in the game files. This happens with all headmasters. According to [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]], Garrett's hair was brown, before it turned grey.
