(Is this actually proven? I had a green-eyed Sim and a blue-eyed Sim give birth to a grey-eyed Sim; two of the mother's siblings, and her grandmother, have grey eyes. (And yes, this was in The Sims 4))
Line 246:

===Hair===
Hair color tends to come out as one of the parents. If one parent has brown hair and the other blonde, the offspring will have a 50% chance of having either. When a Sim with an unnatural hair color such as blue or pink has a child with a Sim that has a natural hair color, the hair color of the child may not be the same as either of the parents. Also, the same goes with hair texture. However, if a sim inherits it's hair texture from one parent, it also inherits it's hair color, too. For example, if one parent has straight, blonde hair, and the other parent has afro-textured, black hair, the offspring could only possibly have straight, blonde hair, or afro-textured, black hair. There is no in-between.
