Goopy shares his name with two [[Barnacle Bay]] Sims, [[Alice GilsCarbo|Alice]] and [[Celeste GilsCarbo]]. His relationship to them, if any, is unknown. A possible explanation may be found in Celeste's bio, which states that she likes cowboy and plaid themed things, implying that Celeste could be Goopy's daughter. Alice's bio also states that she kept the last name of her ex-husband. This might imply that Alice and Goopy married and had Celeste, but divorced afterwards.
