Each area of Vacation Island has one hotel available, while the other two lots will be campgrounds and a bare bones lot. To check in a hotel, click on the desk found on the entrance of the hotel. Rooms cannot be reserved, though Sims have access to all rooms in the hotel. To check out click on the same desk where you checked in.

Activities in hotels differ in each area, somewhat staying similar. In the Winter area, there are snow slides, Sims can snowball fight, and build snowmen. In the Forest area, Sims can Fish, have water balloon fights, and can try archery. While at the Beach area, the hotel contains a large swimming pool with slides, and it also contains special games that Sims can win prizes through. It's also found in other lots in all three areas.
