This article is centered around the sims 2. Any sims 1 information would be greatly appreciated.
Interactions are a certain limited act which you can do on other objects or people. Interactions with objects are usually related to the object's use, however, downloading certain hacks, mods, or using certain cheats might increase the number of interactions of an object, or even creating interactions which has no relation with the object.
Interactions with people are much more wider, and each life stages will have their own special interactions.
If a lightning bolt appears before the option of the interaction, it means that the Sims you wish to interact with is attracted towards your Sims. It will only appear if there is a attraction defined for the two Sims.
