Her husband also is highly intelligent, and they are both disappointed in their first child, as they don't believe he is intelligent enough by their standards. They have been trying to conceive another child lately, in the hopes that the child would be brighter than Jonas. She is pregnant at the start of the game, and it doesn't bode well for Jonas as he might fall into disfavor if his younger sibling turns out to be smarter than him.
