'''Katherina Amantes''' is one of the pre-made, yet unplayable [[Sim]]s from ''[[The Sims 2]]''. During her lifetime, she resided in [[Veronaville]], one of [[neighborhood]]s that shipped with the game. Katherina was the mother of [[Maria Arlecchino]], the mother in-law of [[Trinculo Arlecchino]], the grandmother of [[Hero Monty]], and the great grandmother of [[Beatrice Monty|Beatrice]] and [[Benedick Monty]].
Katherina has [[personality]] points, and [[interest]]s, something uncommon for a pre-made ancestral Sim from Veronaville. However like most ancestral Sims from Veronaville, she has pre-set [[memories]]. Katherina is completely unplayable without the use of [[mod]]s or hacks like [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]].
She has no memories of her husband, and although she has the memory of doing [[WooHoo]] with [[Mystery Sim]], she doesn't have the memory of Maria's birth. So basically apart from the WooHoo memory, and having a memory of moving in, she only has [[Create a Sim]] memories.
Not much else is known about Katherina, as the only indication of her existence is provided by the [[Monty family]] tree. According to her SimDNA in [[Package editor#SimPE|SimPE]], her hair was brown before it turned grey. According to Katherina's age data, she had 20 days left in the [[elder]] [[life stage]] when she died.
