In ''[[The Sims 3]]'' we learn that Kaylnn has a father named [[Dustin Langerak]], a mother named [[Iliana Langerak]], an aunt named [[Zelda Mae]], and a brother named [[Parker Langerak]]. It is implied that Kaylynn was neat from an early age, which led her to become a maid in the future. "Kaylynn Langerak cleans up after her brother and stay-at-home dad, while her mother works all day. Now Kaylynn's aunt Zelda has arrived with a jungle of half-dead plants in tow and things are messier than ever!"
The Langeraks live in a fairly large home and are quite rich, so it is surprising how Kaylyn would turn out to be a maid in the future. The Langerak children enjoy their large home and have a customized room of their own, while Zelda has a room on the ground floor filled with plants.
With Progression left on, Parker and Illiana tend to re-marry after their spouse's death.
