Laundry is the main feature of ''[[The Sims 4: Laundry Day Stuff]]''. Sims can now has the ability to do laundry. Like [[The Sims 3: Ambitions]] You can disable the function by not having any of the laundry related objects. Laundry is the main feature of ''[[The Sims 4: Laundry Day Stuff]]''. Like ''[[The Sims 3: Ambitions]]'', the feature can be disabled simply by not having any laundry-related objects on the lot. If there are laundry objects on the lot, Sims' clothing will get dirty over time, and clothing piles will be created whenever Sims change clothes. Dirty clothing can be collected from a hamper or directly from the ground. Sims can choose to machine-wash their clothes with the use of a washing machine and a dryer, or hand-wash their clothes with a wash tub and a clothesline. When the drying process is complete, Sims can put the cleaned clothes away to complete the cycle.
 
Owning any of the [[laundry objects]] will cause:
*Sims' clothing to become dirty over time.
*Changing cloth will create clothing piles.
 
Dirty cloth can then be collected, either from a hamper, or directly from the ground. When there is enough clothing generated, Sims can Take to Hamper.
 
In order for a Sim to wash clothing, there are two objects your Sim can use: a Washer or a Wash Tub.
 
In order for a Sim to dry clothing, there are two objects your Sim can use: a Dryer or a Clothesline.
 
When the drying process is complete, Sim can "Put Away" or "Set Down", finishing the laundry cycle.
 
If [[The Sims 4: Vintage Glamour Stuff]] is installed, Butlers will automatically do the laundry.
